shrug She plays the drums and she sings and IMO she shouldn't do either, at least not on the same stage with someone as talented as Jack White.

You think she's dead weight. Fair enough. smile

awww, i love me some meg. i usually really hate the songs she sings lead vocals on, but i think she's cute as a button and she works well for the schtick of white stripes.

From a purely visual standpoint, the Stripes at MSG last year was very cool.

You mean like when Prince lets Mayte "sing" hmmm. I couldn't stand that mad . Although it was even worse when he let her speak German and told that she can speak German lol.

God no, just in general. razz

I doubt I'll get to see P. anyways. I think he's allergic to western Canada.

When I think of Western Canada, I think of Tegan and Sara.

Then I think of Ellen Page. confuse

Then I think of you. smile

Then I think of Buffy.

Buffy and Vancouver are forever linked in my mind. confused

lol Buffy would've been so much cooler if the show was set in Van. Of course, not being in Cali might've introduced the problem of winter into filming...hmmm

psst...Ellen Page is from out East... shhh

nod in original line up as well. But I am more excited to see the Foo Fighters (again), Dave definitely knows how to work a crowd (there will be 60.000 of us.... eek ). Also, I am really looking forward to see Queens Of The Stone Age! headbang

And Metallica.....eventhough I am not so much into their more recent work, still cool to finally see them perform!

I didn't really know from where in Canada Ellen is. The association was more because she looks and talks like Tegan and Sara. Then my brain goes back to Vancouver to get to you before moving on to Buffy. I'm strange, I know. lol

If you ever get the Buffy season 8 trade paperbacks you'll see she's based in Scotland now.

Unless my mind is playing tricks on me, the only "proper" gig I have been to this year is:

Down

they were, frankly, awesome. Incredibly tight, great live sound, powerful, powerful vocals.

Only gig I got lined up (apart from my own band - Legacy) is Motorhead.
This is not an exit
