I've seen:

Bowie
Backstreet Boys (twice)
Rolling Stones
NIN
Weird Al
The Arrogant Worms (Canadians might know who they are...)

I'm dying to see:

Prince
White Stripes
Tina Turner
The Cure

The White Stripes aren't playing anywhere this year, are they? Someone told me after this current Raconteurs tour is over, Jack White is going to take a long break.

God no, just in general. razz

I doubt I'll get to see P. anyways. I think he's allergic to western Canada.

I haven't been to a show since last summer (Prince). The older I get the less tolerant I am of bad behavior, so the desire to subject myself to that is subsiding. I'm gonna have to start going to old people concerts where the worst behavior is loud nose-blowing.

When I think of Western Canada, I think of Tegan and Sara.

Then I think of Ellen Page. confuse

Then I think of you. smile

Then I think of Buffy.

Buffy and Vancouver are forever linked in my mind. confused

Last year, I had tix to:

The White Stripes (cancelled due to Meg's mini-meltdown)
Amy Winehouse (cancelled...well, you know)
The Cure (cancelled/rescheduled to this year but I let my tix go neutral
)

So this year, I'm doing much better wiht shows biggrin

His pants are where they belong, his underwear should be a little lower though. And the second shoe was gone some seconds later wink .

My Cure show this year was rescheduled from last year also. I saw Amy twice last year. I got lucky and she showed up both times and actually gave good performances. The White Stripes were awesome last year too.

Well he came out without his shirt for the encore. I don't remember if he had one shoe on when he came out again or 2 hmmm. And I sure don't know why he chose to pull up his underwear. All I know is that he looked and acted weird nod.

The Raconteurs
Beck
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Cheap Trick (tribute to the Beatles)
NIN pray I get tix!

Wish list:
Radiohead

Why does everyone always give an asterisk with Bryan Adams.. His early guitar based stuff is awesome, and when you are gone is the best single I have heard in a long time that never made it to top of the charts...

IMO she's annoying. The other thing I don't like about White Stripes concerts is the audience.

shrug She plays the drums and she sings and IMO she shouldn't do either, at least not on the same stage with someone as talented as Jack White.

Bryan's show was good...AND... he had special surprise guests: Bonnie Raitt and Keith Urban biggrin It was a fun show and I was surprised at how many songs of his I knew. Bryan was quite the prolific singer-songwriter in his hey day. nod

Here's who I've seen so far:

Imani Coppola aka Little Jackie
Foals (great new band)
Travis Morrison
Saul Williams/Dragons of Zynth/Phil Moore Browne
Van Hunt

and here's who I hope to see next:

The B-52's
Duran Duran
Jamie Lidell
Wire
Days of Wild at the Prince tribute show
The Cure
REM/Modest Mouse
Teena Marie
Devo/Tom Tom Club
George Michael
Ani DiFranco
George Clinton and the P-Funk all-stars
80's Flashback Tour: ABC/Human Leauge/Belinda Carlisle/Naked Eyes & more
The Police/Elvis Costello
The English Beat/The Alarm/The Fixx
Cherry Poppin' Daddies
The Afro Punk music series
The Siren Music Festival (but from what I've gathered, this year is gonna be kinda wack. I'm still going though.)

....let's hope I can catch them all. wink
