any west coast hip hop lovers from the beginning?

hi all. I found an interesting my space page talking about the beginning of rap music on the west coast. it is a myspace page. here it is:

I liked it a lot. I always hear about new york's beginning and now I get to read about the other side.

forgot to mention that the coolest thing about this page is, thinking back, when I bought a 12 inch record from a new york rapper I could get a picture cover, so I have legacy there. but when I used to by a 12 inch from los angeles or surrounding area-most of the time It was just a 12 inch in a sleeve. there are also pictures of some of these rappers and producers so you can see what they looked like. it will be fascinating to those of you who know something about west coast rap.
