ROUND 5 MICHAEL JACKSON SURVIVOR U CHOOSE

Round 4 was a close one, with Thriller and History getting all the votes, Dangerous is in tthe final with no votes against it. Its seems we love that album, but lets be certain as I wanna be startin something. Yes I think Bad and Off the wall were gone too soon, but its human nature I guess biggrin

The album voted off was History with 11 votes against it (Vanilli and Celestials vote were counted as half for each) but from now on no half and halfs, a full vote or invalid

so to recap

5th Off the wall
4th Bad
3rd History

Choose 1 of the two left

Thriller

Dangerous

I choose Thriller (as sad as I am too, but theres no will u be there or who is it on it) Rumour has it too that "For all time" was from the Dangerous" sessions

Dangerous has to go.

Lot of throwaway stuff on it, not to mention cheese by the boatload and it's overlong. The guilty songs: Gone too soon, Heal The World, She Drives me wild, and there's more, the intro to Black Or White is cringeworthy. Will You Be There
makes me queasy. barf
Only one thing wrong with Thriller, the Mccartney duet.

Dangerous is a great album no doubt ("Who is it" is one of my all time favorite MJ songs), but it has to go. Thriller is just better IMO.

Get rid of Thriller.

Dangerous mixed the MJ that we were used to with new MJ (at the time) and it all worked.

He's never been so eclectic as he was with Dangerous.

Dangerous is MJs best ever album! There, I've said it.

Dangerous. It has too much filler, I can only listen to half the songs.

Dump Thriller. Always overrated. and the 25th Anniversary mess, is simply awful and crappy.
I like Off The Wall and History better than Thriller.
I can live with the argument that Dangerous is his best solo album.

I had a feeling it would be narrowed down to these two, and it's going to be very hard

Thriller is an album I can play from start to finish cause all the songs are good and sound consistent together

Dangerous contains brilliant and creative work that's different from Thriller, but when it comes to playing it in full, I'm not always in the mood for that. Though I like heal the world, black or white and gone too soon, I often skip those, whereas, I feel guilty for even thinking about skipping anything on thriller. Some of the songs on there remind me slightly of Thriller material, and we know which one came first.

so for this survivor round, I will have to eliminate Dangerous.

I'm having a hard time choosing because while "Thriller" is a great, groundbreaking album I feel it is overrated by the general public. "Dangerous" on the other hand, while a great album as well, is not flawless and is highly overrated by MJ fans.

"Human Nature" and "Lady In My Life" are two of my fave MJ songs ever though and I play them more than anything from "Dangerous", so I'm gonna have to say bye bye to "Dangerous".
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart
