I've been looking for this album forever and I finally found it The first two Heatwave albums ('Too Hot To Handle',1977 and 'Central Heating',1978) are excellent and I always wanted to hear the third album 'Hot Property'.Released in 1979,this album features the minor hit "Eyeballin" but it didn't do as well as the previous albums.After hearing it,I don't see why it wasn't more successful.The entire Side One is fantastic...."Razzle Dazzle","Raise A Blaze" and the aforementioned "Eyeballin" are great dance/R&B tunes.There's a superb slow jam here too,"That's The Way We'll Always Say Goodnight".By this point,Rod Temperton had left the band to work with Quincy Jones,but he still contributed songs.He wrote nearly every song here.

Anyone remember this album?

I remember the album cover but I don't recognize any of the songs there.

I bought this one on my last dig and still haven't listened to it all the way through. I just put the needle on each track and said....."Next!". From what I heard, I didn't care for anything too much on the album. I've still got to get around to listening to it though because sometimes I change my mind after forcing myself to sit and listen to something in it's entirety.

i think "Happy Birthday" is on there too
