Take Your Time by the S.O.S. Band I don't think this was on the album produced by Jam & Lewis but I don't hear Prince there at all and again it definitely predates Controversy.

Yeah i see what your saying - i hate it when people do that as Prince has probably "borrowed" off as many people as have done the same to him - but there are definitely songs i hear that as a prince fan i just immediately think ....Thats soooo Prince.
