Also, as far as the write up thing goes, Supa, were you talking about the accompanying documentation for the mix, or the discussion write up on here? Maybe what could happen is that, if we do it snail mail (or hell, even electronically) the people who get each mix add their own thoughts to the Readme file electronically speaking, or handwrite/type out something on paper for the actual CD version of hte mix if we do it that way. That way, it sort of becomes something of a chain letter, but the good kind.

I hadn't thought of that What I was thinking was more a locked thread where the person posted their write up and then it was a sticky for all of us to read and then at the end of the week (5 days?) the thread would be opened for discussion and people could nominate their favorite song there.

So, the download url will have to be restricted to orgnote. Lets get this moving:

*Start making/finishing your compilation, be it a mix or compilation.
*Everyone will upload to yousendit or sendspace.com, whichever is your fancy. (all at the same time, so that only one mp3disc will have to be send into remote area's with dial-up).
*I'll make a list, alphabetically, of the participants. Number one will make a thread (wherever he/she wants) with liner notes and send the url through orgnote to all others, so that no one will accidentally miss a thread. The next week, number two will do the same.
*So I guess in two weeks or so, we can start!
