Aaliyah's "Erica Kane" I love the message behind this song def one of the most prolific tunes that came out of Babygirl's mouth.

It's a good song, but not one of my absolutely favorites by her. Of the then-new tracks on that album, my favorites are "Don't Know What to Tell You" and "Miss You." "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Beyond the obvious tragedy of her death as human being, it's very sad we never got another full album from her to really show us the growth she was experiencing as an album. The left over tracks from "Aaliyah" were good enough to make the album, but not that strong as to stand alone like that on a set. Maybe "Miss You", which is only more pogioint because of her death. And the feuding between record companies that prevented a complete collection of her best stuff (including that lite "Journey To the Past" from that cartoon) is just dumb, too. "I Care 4 U" could have been more complete and at the time was promised only as a collection with a better hits set to follow. Really glad there was never a duet album, though.

She would of been 28 had she been alive today! Imagine all the things she could/would've done by now White Americans, what? Nothing better to do? Why don't you kick yourself out? You're an immigrant too. -White Stripes
