Bird & the Midnight Falcon: Most underrated R&B group ever?

What do y'all think. I mean these guys get no respect from anyone, they're the Rodney Dangerfield of R&B music. My uncle said he'd seen them in '67 and the Howard Theatre on the same bill as Gladys Knight & the Pips, The Orginals, Author Conley and a young Marshall & the Chi-Lites and they outshined them all.

So what's up, these guys are great aren't they?
