The new Whitesnake album 'Good to Be Bad' Has anyone else heard this album?Their first in 19 years using the Whitesnake name as its absolutely amazing. I know every classic rock band is putting new albums out etc but this is so darn good and possibly the best thing they've ever done. Seriously this one wipes the floor with their 1987 album and the irony is is that it sounds so darn fresh.

Im going to get it this weekend, i totally didnt realize it was out, and just saw the reviews and they were all REALLY positive. Its looking alot like a rockin summer from the veterans, with new cds from Whitesnake, Heart,Styx, and Motley to name a few "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Yeah they're all releasing albums this year. The new Def Leppard album just came out this week and that supposed to be decent too. I think they were touring with Styx at some point. That Whitesnake album though, it smokes!

While we are kinda on the topic of classic rock bands the new Journey album looks interesting. Its 2cd and a DVD. One CD is new songs and the other is 11 rerecordings of older songs(not sure this is a good idea). The new singer sounds great though.

Is the vocalist still Steve Augeri (think i spelled it right), have to get that too. As for Styx, its different without DeYoung, but Tommy Shaw really has made it work, and of course James Young is still there and Chuck Panozzo in limited roles, Lawrence Gowan who joined in 1999 to replace Deyoung is really good, plus he was one of the biggest sellers in Canada. They have a new vocalist called Arnel Pinada. Augeri left because his voice was causing him problems. The new guy is oriental and i think Neal Schon found him on You Tube!
