Why are so many song lyrics unintelligable or just difficult to understand?Michael Jackson's 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' says 'Keep on with the force don't,don't stop 'til you get enough'.
However,it seems to sound like 'Keep on with the porn stuff,don't stop 'til you get enough',or 'Keep on with the porn star,don't stop'til you get enough'.
Can anybody else think of any amusing examples?

This might be off the topic a bit. Remember that song, "The glory of love", by Peter Certera". There is a line in the song that goes, " You keep me standin tall, you helped me through it all, I'm always strong when your beside me". I always heard it as....I'm always STONED when your beside me"...go figure.

I personally just make up my own lyrics when I can't understand folks. I makes my daughter PISSYYYYY!!

this reminds me of a similar thread where someone posted how one of their friends thought the chorus in Graffiti Bridge was everyone wants to fuck the greedybitch

Seeing how lyrics are the most important part of a song to me, it annoys the hell out of me when I can't understand what's being said.
Why wright lyrics when you're just gonna garble through them? Why not just scat or something?
I can understand when one or two word get lost...but I've heard ENTIRE songs I can't understand.

I do that tooooo! I should write them down, because I tend to forget my version once I look up the real lyrics.
I bet mine are better, anyway.

"Don't Stop (All Night)"- Something about "Shakin it on the floor" and "Dancin' all night". That's pretty much all I understood in that song. Now, don't even get me started on "Doesn't Really Matter" and "If".

Smooth Criminal-When I was younger I thought he was saying either "Annie are you oakley? are you oakley Annie?" or "Annie are you walking? Are you walking Annie?". VH1's pop up video said this song was said to be Michael's most difficult song to understand by his fans and I can totally see why lol.

"Billie Jean", I always thought he was saying either "...But the Janet's not my son" or "The Chad is not my son" lol, yeah doesn't make any sense whatsoever but whatever lol.....

-I read on some music site a while ago though that MJ and Nirvana were voted as having the most unintelligible lyrics. I mean I had no idea what Nirvana was saying in "Smells Like Teen Spirit". When I first heard it, all I could make out was "I've been lied on" and then something about "Being stupid and contagious" and that's pretty much it.
