Gordon Lightfoot "If you could read my mind" Iam getting into some Lightfoot recently. Picked up a few random vinyl albums of his ("back here on earth" and "if you could read my mind"), and CD "east of midnight" (how could I resist a Lightfoot album that uses the emu II on a track LOL) Gotta say I prefer "back here on earth" as an album, but I love "if you could read my mind". Not sure if I'll ever be a big fan of his, but I like what I hwave heard so far...

He went to school with my Grandma-in -law in Orillia Ontario.
I love his music, he has a unique Canadian style that has stood the test of time. He has mostly retired but still gives the occasional concert- still worth hearing. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

Yeah, like Dylan, his voice is of an aqquired taste, but I can dig it in small doses. Iam not saying his music is like Dylan, but he does write some decent lyrics though.
