let's appreciate "Night Shift" I think I'd probably heard this song before, but it was on the radio and it totally captures marvin gaye's sound. At first I thought it was What's Going On, though I knew it wasn't and it sounded like a cross between that and Inner City Blues, but then I found out it was the commodores...I can't stop playing it!! | |

Actually, I don't think I've ever heard this cut. I've heard of it, but never had a chance to hear it. Gotta go search for it on YouTube It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I like this song.I have the 'Nightshift' album on vinyl.It's actually a good album,probably their best post-Lionel album.I also love the song "Lay Back",with lead vocals by J.D.Nicholas.That's a nice one. | |

That album is poor LOL. And you complain about good question? The album is painfully dated, which wouldn't bother me at all, but most the songs are weak. But yes "lay back" is good. "Animal instinct" LOL. Need to hear the album again actually... Trivia: Track "lighting up the night" (off the "nightshift" album), was later used as the title track to Jack Wagners second album. I would call it MOR/pop. Sure, the sentiment is nice and deeper then typical slushy MOR (they sound sincere), but it is quite MOR, and so thats probably why you hate it LOL | |
