madonna respect prince and prince respect madonna

both haveĀ“d record labels "paisley park" "Maverick"

both movie stars, soundtracks for motion picture, can sell out arenas

song together "love song".
prince play guitar on "Act of Contrition"

Ahh,but you're forgetting one thing: Prince is a control freak lol He could never do a tour with a powerful, successful woman that he can't control. If he ever does a co-headlining tour with a female artist,it would have to be someone who's not nearly as successful as Madonna.

I would love to be a fly on the wall if the two of them were to get into a backstage argument lol Unlike many of his other women,Madonna has never been afraid to stand up to Prince. When he presented her with the "Graffiti Bridge" script, she told him to his face,"This is shit!" lol

I would not be psyched about this. They are my two favorite tours to see, but I would experience mental overload and the whole thing would frustrate me. In 2004, I saw their shows 4 days apart and it did not benefit the experience at all (especially the Madonna show). They are extremely fabulous, but they do completely different things and it would take too much gear-shifting in too short of time. I enjoy them for completely different reasons.

Both of their shows are mind-boggling and overwhelming (in a good way!) in themselves and it would be very awkward to join them.

Unless they actually played together and developed a completely integrated tour where they both played on each other's songs, brought Madonna's themes, statements and imagery into Prince's songs, and he brought a new kind of instrumentation and musicianship to hers. Actually, that might be pretty cool! smile

this would be the best tour on earth. even if prince just did a hits show, it would still be hot. prince would have to go on first, though, because his set is so basic...after the glitz and glamour of madonna's stage set and props, his stage would be too boring.

now, if he pulled out all the stops a la livesexy, he could follow madonna...either way, i'd pay to see this. any price, pretty much.

i'd prefer not to hear prince change every madonna song into a jehovah's witness friendly version. did you hear what he did to radiohead's creep, by the way? shake

That tour would have to either be in a huge building or outside, because there's no way their stage designs would be even remotely similar enough for the poor roadies to tear one down and build the other in just a short intermission break. I'm not naive enough to believe that they will be willing to compromise on one stage design....falloff not a shot in hell of that ever happening. They would have to build two separate stages for both of their egos in order for them to be able to perform on a joint tour...don't even get me started on that dressing room requests list and the number of tour buses they will each have to have. lol

Personally, I don't want them to do a tour together ever.

Prince will start talking about not lip-syncing, making 'real music' all while playing the hits (AGAIN!) with some songs from PE most likely rolleyes , and preaching to people as he has a tendency to do at times.

Madonna will try to play guitar again or some other instrument she's not all that good at playing, have at least 10 costume changes, do some aerobics and stretches for the audience, and preach to the crowd about Malawi (since she seems to have outgrown her preaching constantly about Kabbalah nowadays).

Then, they'll sing "Love Song" together since it's really the only thing they actually have in common anymore.

$500? falloff For that type of a concert, I'm going with at least $700-$800 just for the nose-bleed seats. Madonna's last tour tickets alone started at $300 for the high up chairs, so I know both of them are going to be expecting a hefty ticket price enforced for this type of tour. Just my twocents
