their trade mark on guitar is rhythm but they can play guitar solos very good

so who are the most underrated rhythm guitarists that can play great solos on guitar
my take would be
nile rogers-while rhythm guitar monster how many people know that he is the guitar player on al jerrous song"golden girl"
that guy can realy play mean guitar solos.

sugarfoot booner-people know his rhythm guitar but do they know that he is great at playing dirty rock solos or clean jazz guitar solos.

ray parker jr-great rhythm guitar player but he can solo realy good example maybe your baby stevie wonder

thomas mcclary-while he mostly sticked to funk guitar in commodores sometimes he had oportunity to wail on guitar and he did it realy good especialy live on stage

Catfish..His solo on "Physical Love" is smokin'.

A lot of people love Joe Perry but Brad Whitford (I.M.H.O) smokes him on lead.

Stephen Shockley, I think, was the name of the cat from Lakeside.
