Mariah should be a big fan since she started out singing backup for Brenda and it's Brenda that took her to the party where Tommy Mottola was at. I hope she cut Brenda K. a big ass check.

I can't even listen to Brenda's after hearing Mariah's so many times...
The only thing bad about Mimi's is that it is THE song where her voice reached it's turning point. She sounds terrible. I honestly don't believe that the released version was the best take she recorded of that song. On the up side, like PricelessHo, I love her emotion in this song. | |

Brenda K. Starr is a latin freestyle legend. For this alone, I should vote for her original version. Mariah is the better vocalist, but she shows off a lot with her own cover version.
With that said, I think it's very sad that Brenda & Mariah aren't as close friends as they use to be. I would have love for them to do a song together. | |
