I found it creepy, but not because of the age difference

I was creeped out by those special effects! eek

I thought I was the only one. I just watched it for the first time and those effects gave me the "all overs." Very ugly, very disturbing.

Btw, I thought the song was crap!

You should be grateful I didn't start a whole new thread on that performance. It's the most embarrassing I've seen since Britney's MTV appearance last year, and Madonna's singing was a scandal. At some points she was totally out of tune.

The video is rubbish full stop. And the fact Justin Timberlake is in it makes it even worse.

the video can't compare to some of her other first single from an album songs, and neither it can be compared to some of her other really good videos (Don't Tell Me, EY) but I like it. It has a concept, it's modern. Nowadays videos aren't expensive and that shows...
I agree with the dancing: I HATE her pilates/yoga style dancing! it looks weird. It was more awful on teh Sorry video!!

But I find Madonna's movements sexier than Justin's.

I've just notcied that Lola pic. I've notice her facial hair for a long time... I just wonder when she will begin to plug her eyebrows and wax her mustache. It's how Madonna would look like if she wasn't styled properly.
it's the Italian genes...
but I like the fact Lola doesn't do it. FIRST: she's a child! Do you want your 11 year old daughter to use make-up and stuff?
SECOND: she probably has big selfecofidence, which I prefer over stupid trends or clisches!

That performance is hot and you should do something better with your time than diss Madonna at any given chance.

I think she's generally uncomfortable around young, urban people OF TODAY. The reason I say that is because of the way she was acting on 106. Granted, Terrance and Rosci are stupid as hell, but aside from that I just noticed how she seemed to play off and bullshit her way through some of the questions (as stupid as they were)
"If you could sign any hip-hop artist past or present, who would you sign?" She said she was a fan of Eminem (which I believe because he came up through the "urban" route like she did, so they have that in common. Then she seemed to play to the crowd, saying Jay-Z and of all people "Fiddy Cent" 50 Cent? Come on. We know damn well Madonna wouldn't have signed 50 and probably wouldn't have signed Jay-Z. I think she was just saying what she thought people wanted to hear - sticking with who she knows is popular. She further proved this when Terrance was talking about who she would turn up if they came on the radio in the car and he mentioned "You'd be in the car throwing the rock up" and she nodded but it was obvious from her face that she didn't know what the hell he was talking about but it dawned on her a few seconds later after people threw up the Rockafella sign. rolleyes The whole interview seemed uncomfortable for Madonna and she was very "stiff" and conscious of everything she was saying. Having seen Madonna in other interviews, you can tell that she didn't really seem to know what to say. The only time she broke a smile was when Terrance made reference to having plenty of licks if she was a lollypop. She seemed like she was saying to herself "Why do I have to be here with these kids?" Its completely understandable since she was by far the oldest person in the room (camera crew and staff excluded).

I think it's not so much being uncomfortable with an "urban" crowd, but a "young" one. I kind of got the same vibe when she appeared on TRL to promote Confessions.

I think being almost 50, being mega-rich, and an international icon, at this point she's gotten too used to some crusty old hack like Larry King coming to ask her the same tired, reserved questions and kissing her ass in her subdued English garden when she's interviewed. She's pretty far removed from being in touch with the crowd she's got to sell to for a pop start of any age to have bonafide successes.

As for the video, I finally saw this on TV the other day. Previously, I'd only seen it online and I had thought it looked okay. Kind of a mess and all over the place, but I thought it looked fine. When I saw it on TV, I realized what a trainwreck and how awkward the entire thing is. Still probably my least favorite song from this album. And one of my least favorite Madonna singles ever. All of the glaring flaws from an otherwise fun album are epitomized in this one track.

What I do with my time is my business and no one else's. As for that performance I guess I should thank you for praising it. Every now and then I forget just how totally lacking in taste and judgement Madonna fans are. Thank you for reminding me.

Here is that performance again for anyone who ate too much dinner and needs help clearing out the contents of their stomach. Skip the first minute. Madge and JT hit the stage around 1.05.
