Never heard the song before but I wonder where the clip is from? Looks like some TV special and I don't think they weren't even on the same set. And that was Stanley Clarke on the upright! Nice song. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Manilow cut two amazing JAZZ albums in the 80's. One was Swing Street, which this track was from and the other was 2Am Paradise cafe, where he worked with Jazz greats, Mel Torme, Sarah Vaughan, Mundell Lowe, Gerry Mulligan. Plus he's worked with Stanley Clarke and both Marsalis. Manilow has always chosen musicians very wisely around him, and is an underrated pianist himself "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Very interesting. As far as working with top musicians, I would expect nothing less from him. I'm a bit of a fan. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
