Never heard the song before but I wonder where the clip is from? Looks like some TV special and I don't think they weren't even on the same set. And that was Stanley Clarke on the upright! Nice song.

Manilow cut two amazing JAZZ albums in the 80's. One was Swing Street, which this track was from and the other was 2Am Paradise cafe, where he worked with Jazz greats, Mel Torme, Sarah Vaughan, Mundell Lowe, Gerry Mulligan. Plus he's worked with Stanley Clarke and both Marsalis. Manilow has always chosen musicians very wisely around him, and is an underrated pianist himself

Ahh, I didn't know he did jazz albums. Very interesting. As far as working with top musicians, I would expect nothing less from him. I'm a bit of a fan.
