iPod Help Please? When trying to add an album with different artists to my library, how can I keep them from sorting into the individual artists and keep them together in the original album? I'm sure this is very simple but I can't figure it out and it's FRUSTRATING me to tears.

Thank you. n well, you know if you want to access the album, you'd just look it up under "album" instead of "artist". your other option would be to change all of the artist fields to the title of the album, so then the album title would show up when you were searching for it under "artist". did that help at all?  | |

I've done that with some other things (where there is a "featuring" artist etc.) but with the Goth Box it does matter because so much of it is obscure ~ at least to me. Although, I was surprised at how many of the artists I was familiar with. I'll just have to listen on the album setting.

isn't that what that "album artist" (or "artist album" - i don't remember) field in the "get info" tab is for?

Man just click the "album" column & scroll down to that album - they'll all be together there as it sorts them in alphabetical order 
The thing I'm hating right now is how ITunes separates things by the same artist. For instance Janet has had tons of songs w/ featured artists on them. So it separates all those out & I can't just seem them under "Janet Jackson", I have to go under "Janet Jackson featuring Missy Elliot" & that blows when you want to play all of that artists songs on your Ipod. I've been going through & putting the "feat." information in parenthesis in the song title. I wish the main artist list would be more inclusive to featured songs. Then again I've been avoiding the latest update to the software so maybe they've taken care of this already!

I've changed some of the main folks I listen to but I want to change all of them. It's so boring though, I can only do it for 10 minutes before I shut the shit down I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!!
