Quality-wise? Or are we talking about sales? Qualitywise. Which one of these artists CD do you like more? If you want to talk about sales, that's fine too. I haven't stopped anyone from discussing that on this thread but I originally meant it for quality. Hope that answers your question. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

She was able to incoporate a hip-hop feel to the majority of the tracks while still maintaing her classic sound that's so easily recognizable. People will know it's her. It's no way in hell near the top in terms of her entire discography but she made a pretty solid record. Who'll win sales-wise? Mariah's record will outsell both Janet & Madonna's numbers in the states combined. Madonna will pretty much rule everywhere else on earth. [Edited 5/2/08 8:04am] [Edited 5/2/08 8:04am]

I agree. I recently heard "Hard Candy" and don't see what the big deal is about it at all. I've heard all three of these albums and they are all over-rated and over-hyped IMO. Songs I like: Madonna - "Hard Candy" -- (1)Miles Away (2)The Beat Goes On (3)Give It To Me Janet - "Discipline" -- (1)Feedback (2)Luv (3)Never Letchu Go (4)So Much Betta Mariah - "E=MC2" -- (1)Migrate (2)Touch My Body (3)I Stay In Love (4)Love Story (5)For The Record Prince Rogers Nelson

While there are reviews for mariah's E=MC2 like four stars (basically a classic rating) I am shocked and apalled at how people can grade this album that high and give Glitter one and two stars. Is the popularity factor. I saw her per4mance of Migrate on SNL and T-Pain looked more in2 it than she was. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Mariah will probably sell the most, but I think Madonna has the best cd.Mariah's cd is ok, and I'm just not feeling anything on Janet's cd.
