"Can I Smell Yo Dick?" LOL! Looks like Shit-Hop and R&B has hit a new low.
http://www.youtube.com/wa...zgGUW__9Jo Apparently it's a pretty popular tune in the dirty south. It's kinda hard to take these sentiments seriously though. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Andrea said We have hit rock bottom. I don't know what makes me more mad. The lyrics or the fat dude cast as the boyfriend. The only thing she is gonna smell between those thunderous thighs is some burnt bacon. Janet said LOL... Thats really funny Andrea, cause I was thinking something very similar.. Like couldnt they get someone more attractive before they start smelling Di#ks... Cause that dude looks like he cant reach the places that matter...

EDIT: So is this supposed to be serious? Okay, poll. Ladies: Would you or would you not ask to smell your man's dick if you thought he was cheating? [Edited 4/24/08 8:20am]

Why am I about to call my friends in Atlanta and ask them if they've heard this ? I mean, this can't really be mainstream in the South...can it ??

As embarrassing as this song is, unfortunately there is some truth
to this song. Most guys aren't going to strip clubs just to hang out with the boys. They going to rub on something something or try to tap something after the club. Just the truth. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

Oh I agree 100% but please, can't we leave that info out of songs altogether, please! Surely there are better ways to rap & sing about your cheating SO than to ask to smell one's hog, did she really want to go there??? I mean you don't hear songs about incest or bestiality but we all know it happens. I think producers/ artists should know where to draw the line, that's all. How do they know where folks have been when they do that? It's separated where I live. Strip clubs are so expensive, the ONLY thing you might be able to get is a breast in your face, but not until you've invested in a massive bar bill. Otherwise, we have legal prostitution here and women of the evening are required to have monthly physicals and meet monthly mandates for health insurance requirements, otherwise, they can't sell their wares. It seems to me that's kinda like putting your penis on a crap table to randomly be with someone who you don't know where they've been...but whatever...

Not even gonna click on that link (sorry, Cinnie ) but for some reason his made me think of a song I heard in the club. "P*ssy don't fail me now, I'm 'bout to turn this n&gga out", or some garbage like that. The women in the club were dancing their little hearts out with the most determined looks on their faces. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

what I think is ultimately sad about this song is the self-exploitation element of it. As blacks, I think we spend so much energy harping on our legacy of victimization, while choosing to gloss over the fact that we're our own pimps for everyone else's gain/amusement [Edited 4/24/08 11:47am]
