I think when recording this song Mariah told them exactly that she wanted a Cherrelle and Alexander oneal sounding song. DIrecting what the snares and all should sound like.

It is a really great tune and one of the last great hurrahs of Jimmy & Terry going back to their old sound. THey need to take those instruments out and do them all over again....and thus..it is completely original. Love bumpin this in my car

I remember loving this song and getting chills from it when I got the album. This song and the ballads are the reason I love Glitter. The cover songs were better in their original form IMO though.
