It's funny that i've never noticed them consistently making any of the periodic "Blue-eyed soul" lists.
Maybe I just stopped paying attention. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

HA this is a good test of your knowledge of PFunk. "Ma" is the exact same tune as "Red Hot Momma" and guitarist Ray Monette did a lot of studio work for Motown and Westbound. He goes largely uncredited for Funkadelic session work. test

Waaaay back ~ in college ~ our local radio station held a contest to name the station. My friend and I submitted the call letters WEED and won the contest (of course they didn't use the name but we won anyway )
The prize was a Rare Earth Vinyl which I believe I still have. I've had a golden spot for them always. Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife. --Kahlil Gibran

My dad may he rest in peace had this on 8 track when i was
6 years old and i'll admit i knew nothing about rare earth until about two years ago when a co worker of mine told me about them. They're not bad at all. I still prefer average white band though. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
