Now that you've heard or own the new records from the 3 diva's whats your un-biased opinion on them Well Im talking Madonna, Mariah, and Janet. Give your views on the albums, the videos, the looks, the singles choices, the tour ideas, etc whatever. Lets keep it from being a trash this one or that one, just give opinions as a listener and as someone that has always listened to these 3 ladies. Best to worst...
Mariah.....Can sing very well, makes great albums that I never tire of. Janet.....Great dancer, not the best voice but nice to hear, but last two albums are not as good. Madonna.....very nice image even when stolen, some good early work, bad singer with crap albums. Iam done.

I should have rephrased this question, its more about what you are feeling about their recent albums that have come out. Though Madonna doesnt street till tuesday, its out all over, and here in NYC it was on sale Wednesday nite.
First and foremost i like all 3 ladies, but, with that said i feel that with any "long" career you are going to have some phase you like more than another. This however has nothing to do with commercial album, as with me, i tend to like the stuff you never hear more than the singles and stuff that is jammed down your throat 24/7. before these 3 records came out i predicted that "sales" wise Mariah would be the winner in this country at least, but "music" wise, Madonna's album would probably the most interesting of the 3. Well despite some annoying Timbaland tracks and production that is the case once again. Janet was first out and with Janet i havent been able to seriously have her albums and singles hold my interest since the "janet" era, which is when i was into her nonstop buying everything from magazines to imports etc.. But Janet now it seems is stuck in this rut. Very similar to the rut Prince was in with "rap" in his music, the thing is that Prince could shake his "rut" because he was recording non-stop, with Janet you have to wait a few years, and still get a "rut" record. Mariah stuck to her usual "guns" here, but had better luck, though this album should have been 9-10 tracks, if it was, it would have been her most solid record in this "rb" era of hers, but the JD tracks drag on and ruin things alot. Also the guests on this record are a waste of time, Young Jeezy and Tpain totally ruin good tracks, just to make them "radio friendly", it seems at times Mariah dumbs herself down. And for Madonna, well im no fan of Timbaland, since hes all talk and NO substance, the same goes for his buddy timberlake. The annoying thing with this record is the lame drum tracks, which i have heard on every damn Timbaland prodcution including Duran Duran's last cd. But song wise Madonna still is more interesting than Mariah could be. As for "selling", Mariah has been the hot ticket, selling 460,000, BUT, i know everyone is going NUTS over that, but dont. Universal wanted 800,000 and that about a month before, it lowered its HOPE too 600,000, and still missed. Though Mariah may be everywhere, they are paying for her to be everywhere, and its still not translating into the mega numbers they need to break even, thats why the industry is doomed. But there hope is that this record has "Legs", now we know Mariah has "them" but they are banking on the kind of hold on the Top 10 that Alicia Keys had, the problem is that Mariah is trying to sell to teens, where Alicia is trying to sell to the more mature listener, which is what gives you the "Legs" for the most part, especially now, Just ask the Eagles who did it with no label no singles. Janet's new stuff is the only stuff that made me go "this bitch is back!" Madonna's and Mariah's new stuff just made me go "so what?"

Hard Candy owns the other 2.
Discipline isn't bad, however.

Janet, i like her project the most. It's packed with incredible uptempo tracks, and as for the usual janet ballads i actually find them quite good on this one. nothing new but not bad either. some of them remind me of the Janet album, which's one of my favorites from her.
Mariah, well she's my pleasing addiction. I know she's capable of MUCH more than what she's giving but she's happy doing what she's doing and she's come back bigger than ever and in the mood to have fun and to achieve more commercial success, and i cannot be mad at her for that. Madonna, so far i like at least four tracks from her album, but i need to freakin' ditch them so i can focus on the rest!

Strangely I forgot discipline very quickly. I remember I was going to rip it into mp3 to put on my mp3, but I instead picked up Björk's Volta.

Discipline - it was love at first sight. I'm so glad Janet has gotten her shit back together and put out a good album. It's unfortunate that she had so very little to do with it, but if that's what it takes, then yay.
Hard Candy - this one has been a grower. I wasn't that thrilled with it at first. I liked it okay, but I had a lot of problems with it. I've let go of the problems and I'm kind of loving it now. E=MC2 - I've only listened to this once, but boy is it fucking horrible. I might give it another spin today just to see if there's any room to grow, but I really can't see it happening. She just pissed away all the good will she'd built up from Mimi with me.

But Kylie who i have all her stuff, still kinda is that hasnt had a GREAT album artist, kind of like a Mariah, though more interesting, and like Duran Duran, though Kylie isnt on their level.
