I remember picnics...alot of lazy Saturday afternoons where we listened to the radio all day long.Back then,we had ALOT of great music,so you could listen to the radio all day.I remember in 1976,I got a velvet poster and neon light for my wall! LOL

I love WAR, 'All Day Music' and 'Slipping Into Darkness' are two of my favorites by them. But all of their stuff is good. I like their blend of Funk, Folk, Rock and Soul. They were one of a kind.
Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

Indeed! I pretty much like all of their 70s albums, and I also dig their 1982 'Outlaw' LP,which was considered a return to form.

Last year,I saw Lonnie Jordan and a group of unknowns, billing themselves as War disbelief

The other original members are touring, billing themselves as "The Lowrider Band" or something like that.
