Too bad concerts don’t have previews or trailers like movies. That way you know in advance if you wanna buy back to back nights or not.

I just checked with my regular concert-mates and they basically said 'no'. One claimed to be anti-Janet right now so if I do decide to go it will be a solo venture.

I've never seen her.

Apparently she played near here for RHYTHM NATION and I missed that one. A kid at school showed up in a tour shirt and I'm like WHAT?! (in grade 4)

then she didn't come through the rest of the nineties..

I had a ticket to an All 4 You show that got CANCELLED! while the next closest show was sold out.

Oh, yeah, I remember that god damn Edmonton date... I felt bad for those people! I was in Vancouver, to see the kick off of the tour... that show got postponed, since they couldn't get their equipment to Canada quick enough (very unprofesional and annoying I have to add... that put quite a knot in my travelling plans), so Portland was first, Seattle was next, Vancouver got rescheduled and Edmontoners were losing out, because they got cancelled for the rescheduled Vancouver show! Well, at least I got to see all three shows! But then again, I got it back and got madly pissed when she cancelled the european tour!

I PRAY there is no "whmisical" part of the show. I have seen her 3 times, and each time its the same show-warmed over. I'm not saying its bad, but I expect a little more creativity.

if her fans quit telling her how much they love that part of the show- she'll get rid of it

Well, it's not like people are supposed to hate that part of the show! I mean, it's a fun part of the show... although by now done to death!

I remember one time during that whimsical segment one of her dancers fell off the raised stage. All I remember was first he was there and then he wasn't. When I looked for him he was down on the ground laying on his side. All I could think of was "Ouch!"
