Queens of the Stone Age are kicking my ass With that new single(not new anymore) No One Knows? I've always read they were hard hitting rock but this shits got some groove to it. Hmmm. [This message was edited Fri Oct 25 10:12:52 PDT 2002 by rdhull] "Climb in my fur."

Twas a great single, unfortunately the rest of the album doesn't quite live up to that. Still a decent listen overall though. And I love the anti-radio skits they threw on in between songs. Very funny!

A rock band for people who love rock music and not this kiddie punk and nu metal shit. This is music for people who know their rock n roll. You should check out the new album as it's truly massive (Do It Again and God is On The Radio are paticularly brilliant) and then work your way back to their debut. Org note me if you want to preview the album..hahahaha.

Saw the band on Tuesday night in my hometown. Mark Lanegan adds a completely new dimension to QOTSA. Every time he appeared on stage a great band became the best band on the planet. That man oozes stage presence and looks like he's possessed. He appeared for Song For The Dead (best song of the night) Song For The Deaf, Hanging Tree and i believe a Screaming Trees song?! It certainately wasn't QOTSA.
The rest of the show was good with one major problem, the bands detachment from the audience. Homme hardly spoke a word all night and the show didn't appear like it was building up to anything, there wasn't really any tension. Technically they were superb as usual and played stuff from all three albums. If Only and Regular John from their debut and lots of stuff from Rated R with Monsters In The Parasol being the best.
