Aretha Franklin - Master of Eyes (The Deepness of Your Eyes)

This has to be one of the BADDEST Aretha joints I've ever heard. This track is so underrated and overlooked in her Atlantic tenture. The Quincy Jones production is just flawless and funky. She deserved the Grammy for this one!

Not to mention, this track comes from one of her greatest, and underappreciated works "Hey Now Hey (The Other Side of The Sky)" from '73.

Technically becuase, Master of Eyes was a one-off single from the sessions, I really don't count it as part of the original LP even though it appears as a bonus track on the CD reissue. But I'm definitely in agreement that it is a severely underappreciated LP. Hey Now Hey is a stellar ass album. The album is worth it for the title track, Moody's Mood, and Just Right Tonight.
