Nobody spends that much time writing or talking about someone if they no longer matter. It's a done deal and everyone just quietly acknowledges it and moves on. They don't ask their friends about it at dinner and then write a fucking essay about it. lol

I just smoked a bowl, thanks for the laugh!
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.

Rhonda the album is nothing like the single.
You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

yeah it's just these 3 out of how many people in Toronto? Even till this day, I'll hear confessions album tracks and singles randomly at clothing stores, it's been that way for the past 3 years.

I think theres a general feeling around of nostalgia toward the way things used to be with the record industry. Is Madonna adapting well???? Im not sure. She's certainly using her clout to ensure she gets coverage, but she often runs the risk of over saturating the market with her image and sound bites.Shes not necessarily doing anything differnt to other artists - its just that because she used to do it a different way -the old way - and shes of a certain age now - people think of it as desperation.

For her new record she's done about 5 different photo shoots - numerous TV interviews and had about 6 or 7 magazine covers - none of which were followed up by particularly insightful or interesting articles.

I do believe that she is personally a little insecure about getting older and becoming irrelevant - and i do think she overcompensates for that - but to expect her to go away because the game is different is ridiculous.

She likes doing and creating new things and to think she'll sit back and just perform her old stuff is silly. I hate it when people tell the likes of Prince and Madonna to stop making records "because its not as good as their old stuff" - why does it matter. they can do what they want.
