Southern Techno/Rave

Dance and raves are big around the world.,particuarly in Asia and Europe. It getss subtle notice here in The States. Up North and The West Coast are full of it. Outside of Texas and Florida I can't say there is any Southern Dance Music.
Texas is one of the biggest spots for all kinds of music and I know theres a big scene in Miami and maybe Orlando. But what about the real partsof The SOuth.

Under technicality Texas, Florida, Virginia, even Ohklahoma,Missouri,Kentucky, and Maryland are parts of The South. I mean the deeper parts. Places where you feel like you are in The South. New Orleans I know had raves at The State Palace Theater which is right adjacent to Missisipi and Alabama The Deep South. By God are there any raves in the heart of Confederate Territory? We can debate on weather Georgia is part of The Deep South or not but it has one of the nation's biggest po[ulated and part citites Atlanta. Are there many raves hosted in A-town? I know they have Booty Music and Bass which are irban forms of Electronic Music.

DC is technically in The South and I'm sure they have various forms of music. Then there's Nashville which as I saw in the Depeche Mode documentary isn't much for other forms of music outside of Opry. I was suprised to see DJ Lars frfom Mtv 's Real World and Prince in my folks hometown of Shreveport Lars was at a rave in Sweeport.Louisiana!!!
