Kathy Sledge`s solo album, "Heart"

Anyone else know the album? It sounds pretty dated, but there are some nice ballads here,
especially "You win some, you lose some (Gabby`s song)"

I don't know this album but I do know the song Take Me Back to Love became a club hit. She may have had one more but I thought she had the potential to become a dance artist after hearing them.
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I remember when this was released. The first single "Take Me Back To Love Again" got a little attention and airplay.

What's she doing these days? Has she reunited with her sisters? It would be nice to see Sister Sledge in a disco reunion-type show with other acts from that era.

I LOVE hearing the full-length,8-minute,album version of "We Are Family".Kathy sings her ass off! At one point,it sounds like she's getting hoarse from singing so hard, lol.

I had the cd (think I lost it in a move). It's been a while since I've heard it, but it wasn't that great of a cd. I did like some of the ballads as well as "Baby". I am going to look for it again and buy another one.
