Brandy Signs With Epic Records April 17th link R&B singer Brandy has signed a new deal with Epic Records, according to a label spokesperson. The superstar, who was most recently signed to Atlantic, is prepping her Epic debut for release later this year. Brandy’s last album, 2004’s "Afrodisiac," has sold 416,000 copies to date in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Last December, Brandy, born Brandy Norwood, was cleared of all charges stemming from a fatal car crash the year before, including a recommended misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charge, which carries a penalty of up to a year in jail. Just last month, Brandy was hit with a lawsuit by a landscaping company, which alleged the singer owed her gardener $3,576 in expenses for work carried out at her property between July 2007 and February 2008. Brandy's publicist claimed the bills were sent to the wrong address. Brandy has said to have settled this claim.

Her new single from the Meet The Browns soundtrack is weak and boring! I hope she gets back to the basics because she's losing me. Check me out and add me on:

If this album is half as good as her last one, I'll be satisfied. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Why can't Lenny Kravitz just produce an entire album for this woman? Her track, "Where Are You Now" is her best song ever. She needs to ditch the mainstream and let Lenny help her out.
Now THAT would be an album worth buying. Oh well, I'll go listen to "Where Are You Now" tonight. It will satisfy me, since that album fantasy of mine will probably NEVER happen. MJ Fan 1992-Forever

It's not my favorite, but it's definitely up there. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
