You know how we all have one or two musicians that do it for us the best and if you're a musician, they are like a mentor or muse in a way that getting enthusiastic over them and to want to achieve the same kind of things they have on a musical level eg. having that talent, having that power to reach out to people through music, almost like it's spiritual? Well for so many years, the jackson siblings did it best for me, and though I'm still a fan I'm bored and need new inspiration. I'm a fan of other artists too though those 2 did it for me the most, but I'm not sure who else to look up to. I think I've just about gone down the list but I feel very uninspired, and when I sing or do anything, it's almost like I want to recreate what I did when I was younger, but it's not sincere anymore. Have any of you who are into making music or singing or whatever been through something similar or know what I'm talking about, and wondering where to turn to next to feel inspired again? I mean I love artists like Beatles, Tori Amos, Madonna, Mariah, Beyonce, Stevie, tons of dance music, new wave, 80's etc. and tons more, but I don't know who it is that makes me want to get out there and do something too someday anymore.
