The drums are tight, and the arrangement of now-vintage synths give it some soulful layers. The verse is great and has a very interesting b-section. It's not in a weird time signature like "I Know It" to throw people off, so really I don't understand the hate. Yes Man I really dont understand it either. I think it is the Madonna fan distace for her R&B ground on this cut. I love the background harmonies on the last minute or so on the song. Madonna wrote this song herself too. The sax is nice and it has a 80's Motown feel to it that exumes soul and class. Nice live drums and cool 80's synths. Its a very underrated Slow Jam. If any other R&B starlet sung it I dont think yall would bash it so much. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
