Anyways. Heard one song. Wasn't really impressed. I got tickets to see them in May. So we'll see.

Heard half. Is not as bad as I was expected to believe. But nothing junped up at me...

Second listen.

On every other album I had one or more immediate likes. Not now... the album sounds a bit... 'the same-ish' overall. It's like they made 13 versions of the same song; it just drones on and on.

So. I am disappointed. Bummer. In the meantime, I have relapsed into a Joy Division live collection frenzy. Better versions! I need better versions!

Only 2 songs stuck to me, and at best it was because of a verse-chorus/verse-chorus poppy nature of the songs.

I think the problem, as with all ladytron songs is the vocals---they're not bad...but just weak. Normally this is overcome by the song's hook, production, and overall vibe. Unfortunately, on this album, they don't overcome the weak vocals.


I will still get the album though.

So then.... this is a bad Ladytron album to start with?


I downloaded the leak because I've heard a lot about Ladytron and I'm expanding my musical horizons.

It was okay, but I didn't think it was great. Are the other albums better, then?

I liked the last one. But I can't listen to any ladytron albums all the way through. I pick and choose songs I like.
