Regina Belle I heard that she was doing a new Jazz CD-anybody heard it yet? How is it? Just listening to some of her old hits and wondering if her cd had been released yet.

So she just gave up huh? Jazz is a very respectful genre so I wouldn't call it giving up.

her older stuff reminds me
of the time I spent at my dear late cousin Cheryl "The Pearl" apartment in the projects as a kid... box fan in the window bed sheet hanging separating the kitchen from the rest of the apt sirens/gunshots every other hour KABOOM cereal nostalgia everyTIME I hear that woman's music [Edited 4/13/08 14:30pm] because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

My aunt used to love and I mean LOVE Regina Belle's music, when I think of her I always remember the time when my cousin and I were playing Nintendo (Ninja Gaiden I believe) and my cousins mom made us turn it off so that my other aunt could tape Regina Belle on the Arsenio Hall Show. We were pissed because we had just passed a hard part and were on our way to the save point, so needless to say I hated her until I got older and was able to appreciate her music, now I'm a fan who thinks she's capable of singing jazz. Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

That's what I hear too, not jazz but a new gospel cd. I like her old stuff and she does a nice small club live show as well. Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.
