I used to love this song and i put it on the compliation recently - but found myself skipping it - so it's not as great as i thought.

I video is half decent though - and thats means "good" by Mariah standards

My favorite Mariah clip for sure... I think she's at her best when she's channeling or paying homage to the early 80s -- obviously her favorite era in music... Looking back, The Roof seems like a treatment for Glitter.

i remember that song . i liked it too . i used to love mariah carey. when she first came out all sweet and innocent ("someday, hey hey" ) . somewhere along the way she got more sluttier, which was at first cuz it was something different than she had done. i still think she's , just a little more junk in the trunk and ain't nothing wrong with that , but her music is just . especially that touch my body, shit is horrible . she'll always be an awesome vocalist, but she needs to find better material cuz her new shit ain't cuttin' it . oh yeah, the roof .

Oh, I love this song. It's one of my favorite Mariah tracks. One of the more interesting ones she's ever done. It's been awhile since she did anything as interesting as this. "Underneath The Stars" is another of her more interesting tracks.
