My favorite from the Love to love you baby" album

Funny should mention this one...I tried to build a Pandora.com station around this song cause it sort of got stuck in my head but the songs they played didn't really reflect it....there probably aren't a lot of songs like it. I love the way it is mellow and funky.

I bet this song really surprised listeners who bought the 'Love To Love You Baby' album back in 1975.On the other tracks,Donna is barely singing.The title track is a whispery moan-fest But on "Pandora's Box",they finally got to hear her strong,powerful voice.

Side two (well, if you have the LP, which I don't but still) of the "Baby" album is full of small surprises. "Need A Man Blues" is fun disco but certaintly not like her popular stuff. It's kind of loungey. Every so often the track "Whispering Waves" gets stuck in my head, too.

It's a great song. She could've had an entirely alternate career doing blues-y stuff like this.
