NOISEttes @ SXSW 
Three recent pictures have surfaced of the NOISEttes via their official myspace in Austin, Texas. The trio recently performed at the city's famed South By Southwest festival. They are in the process of recording new material, although no release date has been set. They're performing April 18th at the Camden Crawl festival in London. Along with an Electric Picnic appearance slated for summer. | |

I recently saw the Ting Tings do an acoustic set @ a nightclub here in NYC. I like "Great DJ" and the Calvin Harris remix of that tune. But the energy of their tracks didn't really translate well with just a guitar and no backing band. A lot of us left. I didn't even get to hear "Fruit Machine" because my friends were like 'this is wack let's bounce.' | |

I have a youtube clip from that night in my org profile. i can't stomach perez hilton, lol. a friend of mine has put together a showcase the past two years, so i've been "required" to go each time.  last year, also, a friend of mine performed so his girlfriend and i were obligated to go. this year i went with the same girl and we had a blast. we've vowed to make it a yearly thing from now on. not to mention i've totally fallen in love with austin and dallas, lol!An individualist is a man who lives for his own sake and by his own mind; he neither sacrifices himself to others nor sacrifices others to himself... | |

Cool cool. Trust me. I am in no ways a PerezHilton advocate. There has to be valid reason.
Howeverrrr, I would've been @ his Showcase @ SXSW just to catch Chester French. I heard it was the business. Don't know who is hooking Perez up with the goodies, but it was far from wack. I'm excited to check them out when they evenutally hit up NYC. [Edited 4/3/08 13:32pm] | |
