This song was the shit. This could've been a hit single for that error. I love the JB sample. "POOR IS THE MAN WHO'S PLEASURES DEPEND ON THE PERMISSION OF ANOTHER" Madonna

you got that right... this shit should have been on the album...the title alone should have warranted it's inclusion

go to Janetmedia.com and listen to it there I went there and tried to join...I'll try again. If I find the single cheap, maybe I'll just buy it. Even though "Come Back To Me" is over produced, I like it.

Janet's japanese bonus tracks (which are sometimes bsides as well) tend to be so damn good, they could be hit singles. "Who", "God's Stepchild", "Put Your Hands On"....strong stuff.

should have replaced "Livin' In A World" .... because LIAW drags that album down at a point when it shouldn't have been dragged down, and its lyrics suck. and it's cheesy. leave "We Are The World" to Michael, Janet. I like "Livin' In A World (They Didn't Make)". She was singing about us 80s babies.

she should have sung a better song about you. "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

I like it, it's so 1990 whereas the RN album is so 1988/89 (it was finished recording in late 1988 and then janet made the RN movie for most of 1989)

What SHOULD have been a single was "Put Your Hands On". Its retro but it was better than most of the other stuff on Damita Jo. I wonder why it didn't make the CD? Probably because of continuity. Its still a good song.

paisleypark4 said: Love Me Good track but it has a weak chorus. Its a little "hard" for Janet, too. Just Blaze dropped b-boy beats on the song and that's not really Janet. I think if he had changed the kick drum sound and taken out those 808 percussion sounds it would have improved that track a lot. It still would need a stronger chorus.

Fast choruses I guess dont do good in America THat drum beat was right. The stomping sample of the kickdrum and loud clap was kinda loud. Oh well. It is what it is, I just thought it was more commercial than Put Your Hands On. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

It seemed to fit Janet well; well enough to have made the CD. I guess the execs thought differently. I'm not saying it would have saved the CD but I can think of a couple of tracks I would have dropped in favor of it.

I never really liked Put Your Hands On although I can see the appeal. She doesn't sound good on that song and the hook slightly reminds me of The Message.

I dont think so. Its basically a drum beat with some baseball cheering going on. That was a nasty beat Jimmy and terry did with the James Brown single (I don't need nobody to give me nothing, open up the door, Ill get it myself) and it fit Janet's vocals. If you cant nod your head to this, somethings wrong. "POOR IS THE MAN WHO'S PLEASURES DEPEND ON THE PERMISSION OF ANOTHER" Madonna
