You can make all the excuses you wish, but Kylie's performed with much less of a setup than Dancing With the Stars and made me very pleased. These performances were meh. | |

Kylie is a surprisingly capable live singer most of the time, and unlike other current female performers, she actually sings live in her concerts. However, she is still the type of a "modern performer" (read: not a real professional vocalist) who will need all the technology set right for her. Most TV shows these days are handled like karaoke events in order to save a few bucks.
Saying she "looks like shit" is a bit of a stretch though. After her cancer treatment she hasn't looked like she did before, I will admit to that. The wigs aren't helping either. | |
