Hollywood power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z have picked up their marriage license and have 60 days to get married, celebrity website People.com has reported.


People quoted a source as saying the pair obtained a license on Tuesday morning, which is valid for 60 days.

A spokesperson for Beyonce had no comment to make, while Jay-Z's reps couldn't be contacted.

Beyonce, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, have been dating since 2002, and rumours about an impending marriage have been circulating for months.

Beyonce is one of the world's biggest pop stars, while Jay-Z has been hip-hop's biggest voice for more than a decade.

I saw it being reported on "Early Today"(early morning news show). People.com...it must be halfway legit.

Not to jump topic a minute, but did anyone hear of beyonce doing a type of detective movie? she is supposed to be the wife of one of the main characters. that is all I have to go on. thanks

I'll believe it when I see it...rumors about them getting married have been swirling for years. It seems like every 3-6 months this pops up. The marriage license part is new, but you guys can understand why I'm skeptical.
