N'Dea Davenport did a cover of this song!
Loved what the Heavies did with it but yeah, she's badass N'Dea is one of the better cover artists out there. Most covers sound like crap but she manages to breathe life into the covers that she does. It's cuz of that kick ass voice of hers 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Me too. Brings back some great memories of my spinnin' days, doing double duty's. Happy hour and then the all night funk-a-thon.

Not that familiar with her R&B albums for Philadelphia International. [Edited 4/1/08 12:11pm] The first version I ever heard of this song was done by a Jazz singer named Etta Jones.... By the way, I do love Ndea's version though. Is she ever gonna release another solo cd?
