Randy Jackson

Anyone here a fan of Randy Jackson...no relation to MJ and clan!

Do you like him better than Go Paula?

Honestly, he's just sort of "there."

He's the kind of person that I don't think I've ever thought about whether I actually like him or not.

It's interesting how many people know nothing of his background beyond A.I.

Randy Rocks!

From the London Rock group Taxxi
(who I saw him perform with at Perkins Palace in the early 80s)...

...to his stint with Journey.

Not to mention playing bass on tracks for...

Jean-Luc Ponty
Billy Cobham
Pete & Sheila Escovedo
Aretha Franklin
Narada Michael Walden
Sister Sledge
Angela Bofill
Tom Coster
Herbie Hancock
Maze
Whitney Houston
Joe Cocker
George Benson
Martha Davis
Ivan Neville
Madonna
Hall & Oates
Elton John
Bob Dylan
Kenny Loggins
Roger Waters
Bruce Springsteen
Mariah Carey
Sylvester
Nancy Wilson
Billy Joel

...to name a few along with numerous production credits.

Personally, I could care less what he does on A.I.
He's put in serious work as a versatile musician.

And, most importantly (IMO), being Van Hunt's manager.

Thanks for sharing that tidbit. Impressive. I'll admit at first when
people mentioned randy jackson i would think about the one from the jackson
clan. I knew he played with journey but had no idea he played with all
these other artists.

Same here. The only band that I knew that Jackson worked with was Journey. Oh how wrong I was. giggle
