Audioslave I just saw their new video and it rocks! I knew the former band members of Rage Against The Machine were pairing up with Chris Cornell, but I didn't know any of the details about their new band including the name. I just did a little research and found out that their first album is supposed to come out on November 19. I'm kinda excited about this. Here's a tracklist.
1. Cochise 2. Show Me How to Live 3. Gasoline 4. What You Are 5. Like a Stone 6. Set It Off 7. Shadow of the Sun 8. I Am the Highway 9. Exploder 10. Hypnotize 11. Bring Em Back Alive 12. Light My Way 13. Getaway Car 14. The Last Remaining Light

So far it sounds like crap. It's just Soundgarden meets Rage. They should have made a new sound. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

I think Audioslave rocks! Chris Cornell is a much better frontman than Zach De La Rocha. They have a very unique style. I liked the fact that Rage was very political when Zach was the frontman but I have always liked Chris Cornell so I think the change is definitely GOOD.

i don't know if i think that it was a fair trade...i think zach de la rocha has one of the most IDENTIFIABLE voices in rock and roll-- when he yells "motherfuuu**er!!!" in "killing in the name", i think it truly ranks up there with any classic rock and roll performance--absolute raw fury (in my opinion anyways ). when i heard that they had hooked up with chris cornell, and then heard the resulting leaked tracks... damn, i was afraid they would sound like this. chris is a singer, zach was a rapper, y'know?
although the track "cochise" is the bomb... i will say that much. $.02 --gm-- i....feel.... cold as a razorblade, tight as a tourniquet, dry as a funeral drum......
