This album came between "Fantastic Voyage" and "Your Wish Is My Command". It got absolutely no radio airplay in my area. Hey VA, whasup. Yes Mon Friar, you are absolutely right, Keep On Moving Straight Ahead did follow the Fantastic Voyage LP. It's one that fans, jocks and Lakeside probably tend to forget. I however did dig a tune or two from this LP. The most notable one I rotated somewhat was "It's You", yet it was not a major part of my Lakeside music diet. I did not hear this LP on the radio either. I was getting tired and left off the Untouchables LP from '83 @ the end of Your Wish Is My Command, to complete the consecutive order. I could have went on forever, but I did not want to Jack the thread ... I left off a lot from rock, jazz, blues, hip-hop, reggae, gospel..but my peeps here will represent . ThreadBare said: My applause for those of you who posted only two albums by only one artist.
Here's a tip to the rest of you (whose post I still enjoyed): Other Orgers might be unfamiliar with the artist whose work you're praising. By EXPLAINING why those two albums stand out from that artist's work before (or even after) you stand a greater chance of explaining to potential fans why they should check out those albums. That means more than posting an artist's albums from a 10-year span, or posting two albums from multiple artists. Thanks! I'm so sorry, I'll never post here again

Ace said: Released on the same day and lyrically excellent (good tunes, too!). Remember when Lauryn Hill said that "Fantasy is what people want, but reality is what they need"? These albums have reality up the ying-yang. This is what I love about you, Ace - you're a true contrarian. You could have picked Darkness and The River, or the River and Nebraska, but you go for Bruce's worst albums. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

Just by looking at the cover of In A Silent Way with Miles looking introspective but intense, you should have known something was up contrasting the Bitches Brew cover. With In A Silent Way... ...it's as if you're drifting peacefully through space. The beginning of Pharoah's Dance kind of tricks you into thinking you may be getting more of the same. But half way through the piece and then into the title tune, you realize that... ...the heat's been turned way up and there's a new sheriff in town. So the moral of the story is, as an innovative musician, always push the envelope and never stand pat. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Christian Death - Only Theater Of Pain (1982) Christian Death - Catastrophe Ballet (1984) Two of the finest gothic rock albums ever recorded. The former is a death rock classic and possibly the best and most influential in the genre. Singer Rozz Williams would record one more album with the band before guitarist Valor highjacked the Christian Death name for himself and released many substandard recordings even to this day. A few years later Rozz attempted to reclaim the Christian Death name until he committed suicide in 1998.
