I LOVE the Jones Girls. They are my favorite girl group of all time (and that's saying a lot). My favorite album is "At Peace With Woman", but I love all of their albums (except for the one they did with RCA). **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

@ you remembering what I said,,,even though I don't remember
But I LOOOOOVE The Jones Girls, they're my ABSLOUTE fave female group along with The Emotions, you can't listen to one of them without the other, you just can't. I think they(Jones Girls), Jean Carne and Phyllis Hyman are the FIERCEST of the fierce who emerged from the Philly scene. In fact, I'll be bold and say that they gave Gamble & Huff's music more color, character and style than the male singers who worked with them. We're A Melody The Feeling's Kiling Me I Just Love The Man You're Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else Nights Over Egypt Keep It Coming I'm @ Your Mercy To Win You Back Children Of The Night Oooooh child, so many to mention. I highly recommend tracking down their "early hits" compilation, the one that features all the songs they did for Curtis Mayfield's Curtroom label. Believe me you'll not be sorry. | |
