Sharon Bryant! Anyone? She sang lead on the Atlantic Starr song "Circles",
and released a solo album in the early 90s... Has anyone heard it?

Love me some Atlantic Starr and some Sharon Bryant and i do believe she was the best lead singer for the group IMO, not to slight the other ladies, She was my fav, also i loved her SOLO debut the top ten R&B smash "Let Go" Love the video TOO! Also she does a remake of the Steve Perry "Foolish Heart" I love it as well. GO SHARON B!!!!!

They lost everything - IMO - the minute she left the group. She was the pulse of that group and whoever came after her couldn't get in her shoes - or buy new ones for that matter. I'm just baffled that she said "Hell no" when Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis came up to her with the "Control" and then got passed to lil' Janet @ the time. I bet she broke them heels from kickin' her own ass after that.

I think she wanted to go more in the Adult Contemporary field and not be the Dance/Sex Symbol. Who knows? **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I remember hearing a radio interview of her with Egypt and said that she enjoys producing vocals, doing vocal arrangements and singing back-up for other artists more than the "lead" thing. And in her defence, she says she finds MORE work as a session artist anyway as opposed find work solo, coz no agencies will book her. Make sense I guess but not enough sense to throw such a talent in the back seat. At least, I'm glad that she's content. [Edited 3/30/08 10:09am]

I loved sharon bryant as lead of atlantic starr and her solo
album which was good but not spectacular. I liked the title track here i am, don't let go, falling, body talk, and the foolish heart remake of course. I hate that she decided to step out of the limelight. She could have been a household name in the mid to early nineties. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
