I know you love the slow jams with falsetto so you would absolutely love the complete side two which consists of "Go On And Cry" (around 8 minutes long), "How Does It Feel" (11 minutes plus...long), and "We Go A Long Way Back" (around 5 minutes long). All three of those slow jams got regular airplay in my area back when they were popular. I already had the 45 of "We Go A Long Way Back" but I had to have the album for the other two great slow jams which I like much better than the title cut. I had never heard anything from side one. I love the first track which is an uptempo funky track (I can't think of the name of it). Anyway, it was produced by The Isley Brothers. The last track on side one is an uptempo funky jam too which sounds very Isley Brotherish. The two middle tracks on side one made me say...."Next". Anyway, it's a pretty good album. Andy is a four letter word.

you rock for that Natalie album
that's probably my fav album of hers between that one & Thankful I looooove "Your Eyes" from there oh GOD... I used to play that song everyday LOL when I first found that album what's your fav Natalie album? and FOXY.. YES YES YES!!! OMG we used to have the 45 for "Get Off" and I could tell it was a favorite of my mama's or my sister's because by the time I got a hold of it (in the early 80's) it had so many crackles & pops & skips OH MAN... that song takes me back to my old neighborhood and my "lunchbox THRILLER MJ record player" how is the rest of the album? I picked that same BLOODSTONE album up maybe a month or so ago... hadn't spun it yet... great dig!!! [Edited 3/25/08 22:09pm] because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

We were on a marching band trip, and went to Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ after the competition. Our band director let us stay for the concert... My friend Pam & I had a thing for JD Nichols and made a corny-ass sign that said, "Lionel who?" Ahhh the memories.... "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I love bloodstone's how does it feel. I remember listening to it on the radio back in high school and it was long but i didn't know 11 minutes long. I got a double live natalie cole album on a vinyl dig 4 years ago for 50 cent and the album is in mint condition. I have those two commodore albums. Check out say yeah and i like what you do on natural high. I know i don't have to tell you anything about the commodores sky blue album but squeeze the fruit will always be my baby although it's too damn short. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

Yeah, this thread inspired me to go on a vinyl dig too I'm contemplating myself on going after work on a dig funny thing is, I have so many records from previous digs that I haven't even touched yet... there's a certain thrill I get though from going to "da wrecka stow" some people like golf others like the gym I prefer D.I.T.C (diggin in the crates) because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

you MUST hear "Get Off" (the song) remind me to shoot that to you I'm sure you've heard it and maybe didn't know what it was... it's on the opening scene (the 70's bday party) on the movie Set It Off because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

*scratches chin* I will check into that but I'm positive it's nothing I can do manually... it's just a cheap lil record player I bought from RITE AID (aka K&B) for like 40 bucks... I'm thinking it needs to be hooked up to a receiver with an equalizer or something *mental note* because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

I had a vinyl dig a few weeks ago. I found so many I didn't realize we had such as:
a John Travolta record!!!! Barbara Streisand (how dare they!!!) Wham's first album a Fleetwood Mac record Ritchie Sisters Dirty Dancing Saturday Night Fever Hot Chocolate 45 singles like: Don't Leave Me This Way Love to Love You something from Barry Manilow there are certain records I remember listening to as a little kid that I already knew we had such as Like a Virgin, Heaven on Earth, lots of Beatles songs and a few disco singles, I even remember finding a don't stop till you get enough 45 a few years ago dug away and being so happy about that.
