Today in WTF news...one of my favorite rock heroes has announced that he is recording an album being produced by Timbaland. Not only that..he is signed under Timbalands 'Mosley Music' label.....

Chris Cornell (of Soundgarden and Audioslave) spoke with Ryan Seacrest this morning (a sleep Timbaland called in mid way as well) during his KIIS FM morning show in L.A.,and spoke about the new album and also about David Cook covering his cover of MJ's 'Billie Jean'...

-He loved David Cooks performance
-Ryan suggested they perform together on the finale
-He has yet to hear back whether MJ loves or hates his verion of the classic song

what the hell happened to chris cornell? i saw some video he made recently and i swear to god for a moment i thought i'd been transported to bizarro world. he's gone all adult contemporary and soft rock. i guess the hot grunge chicks are all soccer moms now.
